What is a Maker?

Being a maker is about embracing your capacity to create and taking an active role in designing, making, and customizing your own projects: physical or digital.
If you do that: Congrats! You’re a maker!

What is this club for?

SB Makers is a social club! A regular meeting where people who enjoy making can get together, maybe grab a coffee, talk about their latest projects, help each other over creative roadblocks, and just generally be a supportive community of like-minded people.

Who is welcome to join?

This club is for anyone 18 and up who understands that being an adult means acting like an adult.

The cornerstones of a healthy community are respect, kindness, and honesty. We expect our members to adhere to these principles. If you genuinely slip up or are having a bad day, hey it happens. If you display a pattern of poor behavior, that’s a different story.

Behaviors like homophobia, sexism, racism, or any kind of bigotry will result in immediate ejection from any club event present or future. We will not tolerate disrespectful or aggressive behavior. There will be no debate. No appeal. One-And-Done.
